Our Website Blog - A blog created for news, information, feedback and discussion of this website itself. Edison News - A comprehensive resource for news about Edison, NJ. Provides links for print news about Edison, i.e., stories appearing in local newspapers. Includes several links to news search sites that find stories about Edison, NJ. You'll also find links for streaming TV and Radio news for central New Jersey. Also included: subpages for news articles regarding the Mayoral Administration, Police, Edison Crime Stories, Firefighters, and School Board. And finally, there is also an archive of articles appearing since the site's inception in the "Latest Headlines" section of the Home Page. Community Forums - Forums for discussion about issues of concern to our local area, the nearby neighborhoods, and all of Edison. Includes links to external discussions boards about Edison, NJ. Also features an Off Topic forum for topics of general interest for anyone who likes to shoot the breeze via message boarding. Issues Affecting Us - A page for residents to express any concerns they may have about Edison, which I will in turn seek to get addressed with the municipal administration. Users may post on a forum. I will copy the issues folks raise in the forum to this page. I'll provide an ongoing report of our progress in getting the matter resolved. The Peterson Report - Links to the Peterson Report blog of news and analysis about Edison politics. Here you'll find an archive of all Peterson Report articles. Council Agendas & Minutes - The Official Website of Edison, NJ isn't very user-friendly for getting directly to what you're likely to seek re: Council Meeting information. So I organized a page that I believe will make it easier for you. On this page you can go straight to what's likely to be of greatest interest to most people. Or at least to political junkies who follow all the wrangling that goes on in trying to administrate the township.

Township Links - Phone numbers and contact persons for the various administrative offices of Edison Township. Also includes links for higher governmental officials on up to NJ Governor and New Jersey's U.S. Senators. Trash & Recycling Pickup - Our township's garbage and recycling pickup calendar is rather difficult to follow. I have simplified things by actually writing in what the pickup days are for our area. Soon this page will include pickup calendars for all the other sections of Edison. Weather for Edison, NJ - This page now proudly touts itself as "everything weather for Edison, NJ plus the kitchen sink," and it's really true. It's a very comprehensive weather resource, providing all sorts of links. Forecasts of various lengths, satellite and radar weather maps, live television weather and traffic streams--this page has it all. Honestly, this page alone could warrant daily visits to our site. If you want to get some serious internet "drilldown" re: weather for Edison, this page is it. Merchants' Market - We're very excited about this feature. Here we provide links for all the local businesses wthin or bordering upon Washington Park. Many of these businesses regularly offer special sales, promotions, and coupons, which you can look for here. We also include a section to help you find coupons for any store, anywhere. Eventually we will expand the businesses listed to include all that fall along 1) Rt 27 between the boundary of Highland Park and the boundary of Metuchen, and 2) Rt 1 between the boundary of New Brunswick to 287. If other nearby businesses want to be included we'll add them, but only if they contact us and request it. Bulletin Board - A feature by which to announce and check for events in the local area, or anywhere in Edison. A forum has been provided to post any announcements. I'll then copy posts to the webpage as well. Here you'll also find links to external bulletin board sites for Edison, NJ (the Sentinel, Topix, and Edison's official website). Want Ads - A page for posting want ads. Useful for advertising yard sales, items for sale, and services such as lawn care, snow removal. babysitting, tax preparation, and the like. Real Estate - A page providing information about 'everything real estate' for Washington Park, its surrounding neighborhoods, and eventually for all of Edison. Obviously this is of interest to anyone trying to buy or sell a home in the area. But it will also be of interest to anyone interested in keeping track of home sales and property values in their neighborhood. Residents can watch how Edison's various neighborhoods each rate by comparison. Our "Real Estate" page is off to a decent start, I think. I plan to develop it further. I'm eager to receive suggestions about how to make this page all that it can be (post them via Our Website Blog, see above) Beautify Your Property - A page that invites readers to post suggestions about lawn care and landscaping. Also provided are external links to sites that give advice on these subjects. The more we do to make our properties look as nice as possible, the better it is for all of our property values. My hunch is that many residents simply lack knlowledge in these subjects and would take steps to do these things if only they knew how.
